Daily Devotion
Hey Guys, What a world we live in today? Drugs, sex, violence, disappointment, despair, it is all around us. If you turn on the local news it is all they talk about. Every show for teens and tweens has serious and horrific events. Is like really that serious? Do we need to soul search every time we get a bad grade, or have a fight with our parents? Can we sometimes just laugh? I think Jesus would tell us to lighten up on a lot of things that we take so seriously. I just imagine Christ sitting with Peter and John, and John shooting a spitball across the table at Peter. Peter was too quick though, ducking and watching as the spitball continued right at Jesus. Now John was fearful of the masters’ reaction. Would he yell, scream, be upset, cry, what would he do? And Jesus just stood up, grabbed a piece of paper, slung it in his mouth and fired right back. LOL Sometimes its ok for us to have fun, joke and just enjoy life. Are you enjoying yours?? God Bless
